Alex: My super hot husband! He knows how to use power tools, how to cook, and how to make me laugh! Perfect combo!
Beyonce: I could watch her music videos all day long. She is a performing robot. I cried at her concert. Also, she was the theme of my bachelorette party.
Crafting: From homemade cards to re-purposing furniture – it’s the best therapy I could ask for!
Decorating: I got it from my Mama. To me, decorating is like a puzzle, it’s figuring out how to fill a space with your favorite things.
Event Planning: Organizing, decorating, shopping, and crafting all coming together in celebration.
Family: My lifeline. We have the best parents, siblings, littles, cousins, Aunts, Uncles, and Grandparents. Knowing I have my family to support me, I feel like I can do anything.
Grub: I love being in the kitchen with Alex or going out with friends or family. Food = Connection.
Home: My favorite part of being an adult is making our house a home. Besides laundry.
I love to dance: I danced growing up, taught dance through college, and continue to dance every day (but only my dog watches now). Do me a favor, never make fun of someone’s moves on the dance floor.
Java: Coffee fuels my soul and I will take it in any form, including IV.
Kind: Just be kind folks. We can all use a reminder to just be kind.
Laughter: A good sense of humor is my only requirement in friendship.
Missouri: Born and raised. I love my state. We can experience every weather condition within a week, and have the most beautiful rivers and streams.
Nieces & Nephews: A day spent with our littles, is a day well spent. Watching them grow into actual humans is a blessing to witness.
October: I love everything that this month brings in the Midwest: pretty leaves, cooler weather, pumpkin everything, and wineries!
Pullum: I love being Mrs. Pullum, being his wife, and marriage. Marriage is a team-sport, and I love my teammate.
Quick Trip: I love a good gas station! Caffeine, snacks, and booze! What’s not to love?
River Rae: Our sweet Rescue baby! She brings so much love into our home. #AdoptDontShop is about as political as I ever get.
Shopping: If it was a sport, my mom and I would be Olympics good. We can sniff out a bargain anywhere! We can also justify a splurge on just about anything.
Tacos: Enough said.
Undergraduate: I am extremely thankful for my experience while obtaining my Bachelors. Also, thankful I paid it off!
Visor: A type of hat, and I love a good hat (I couldn’t think of anything else for “V”). Bad hair day? A lot of regrowth? Throw on that hat!
Water: If I could, I would spend every day near water. Creeks to the ocean, it doesn’t matter to me.
X-Mas: I might as well be a Who from Whoville. The giving, decorating, treats, shopping, contagious spirit, and the birth of Jesus. Pure magic!
YouTube: What in the world did we do without it? “How to properly cut an onion” is in my recent history. Extremely valuable information! Plus, I am working towards my own channel. Stay tuned!
Zero: If I had way more zeros in my bank account, (I know… it’s a stretch, but Z is hard!) I would turn this website into a business and hire all my favorite people.
