Easy DIY Wall Decor Ideas
Easy DIY Wall Decor Idea #1: Poster Hangers
$2 DIY POSTER HANGER: UPDATE YOUR FAMILY PHOTOS AS OFTEN AS YOU WANT

Why does updating your family photo prints have to be such an investment!? Don’t get me wrong, I love photo canvases, wood photo prints and all of the other cool ways you can print your favorite family photos, but they are quite expensive! Also, what do you do with the old ones? I only have so much wall space! Which is why I came up with this poster hanger solution!
When photos are hanging in a main focal point of your home (aka above the couch), you are going to want to update those photos every once in a while, right? I wanted to hang large portraits from our wedding above our couch, but I’m going to want to update them since our family is growing.
Well, I think I’ve finally come up with an ACTUALLY GOOD solution that is affordable, interchangeable and stylish! I figured out how to make my own DIY poster hanger and it only cost me $2!!

Easy DIY Wall Decor Idea #2: Reversed Canvas
REVERSED CANVAS (WITH A SHIPLAP TWIST)

Before we upgraded to our king size mattress, we didn’t have a headboard in our bedroom. We knew we would upgrade eventually and didn’t want to spend money on a headboard we wouldn’t get much use out of. So, to disguise the fact that we didn’t have a proper adult bed, I wanted to hang something in that spot instead. That’s when I discovered this DIY.
Why would I pay a small fortune for a large custom wood sign when I can make my own reversed canvas. What is a reversed canvas? A reversed canvas is when a stretched canvas is transformed into a cool wooden framed sign with a rustic charm. This DIY version is a fun, easy and cheap way to personalize your space! No joke, I have one in just about every room of our home. I usually fill my frames with the canvas material or large photos, and I also have a faux shiplap version!
